Guardiola made EPL coach of October while Sane wins October player of the month award


Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has been named Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for October, while City’s winger Leroy Sane has pick up his first Player of the Month accolade.

Guardiola won his second Barclays premier league Manager of the Month award in a row as City remains unbeaten, winning all three of their league games in October with 13 goals, and are at the top of the Premier League.

The 21-year-old joined City in the summer of 2016 from Schalke for £37m and has scored 11 goals in 37 Premier League appearances, including six this season.

City top the English top flight with 31 points, ahead of Manchester United who are second on the table with 23 points.

Guardiola’s side will travel to Leicester City on Saturday, for another English Premier League cracker, before returning to action in the Champions League at home to Feyenoord.
