Bode George Withdraws From PDP Chairmanship Race

Former deputy national chairman of the PDP has announced his withdrawal from the race at a press conference in Abuja on Friday.

Bode George started his reasons for his withdrawal from the race, saying the South West is already cheated with the entrants of aspirants from the South-South. He accused the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike of undermining members of the PDP in the South West on a national Television when he said the region has never achieved anything meaningful for the party. Wike is then supporting another candidate, Uche Secondus, for the chairmanship of the party.

Meanwhile, Bode George was one of the candidates cleared for the contest at the national convention of the party set to hold in Abuja.
