Conte shows desire to work with Vidal

Antonio Conte wishes to work with Arturo Vidal at Chelsea, but refused to speak on rumours about Chelsea's signings in January. The blues coach has refused to rule out a move for £53million Bayern Munich midfielder.

The duo: Vidal and Conte won three successive Serie A titles during their time together at Juventus, and reports in Chile have suggested there could be a reunion in 2018.

Speaking to the press after the Blues won Brighton 2-0 on Tuesday, Conte admitted that Vidal is a player you want to go to war with.
"I must be honest, it's not right to talk about a player of another team," he said, especially if you try to link this player with yours.

“But Arturo is a fantastic player, I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together.

“If we go to war, I’d always want him with me.”

Vidal’s contract at Munich runs until 2019, but last month German magazine Kicker claimed he could be sold by the Bundesliga champions.
