All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the cynosure of all eyes today when top Nigerians including President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo stormed Lagos to celebrate his 66th birthday.

The celebration which was encapsulated in an intellectual discourse session tagged the 10th Bola Tinubu Colloquium explored the theme "Investing in people". Speakers such as Mrs Zainab Ahmed, Mrs Abimbola Adesanmi, Mr Afolabi Imoukuede, Omoseinde Olabayo and Brimah Mohammed used the occasion to highlight the dfferent social investment initiatives of the Buhari administration and how it has impacted ordinary Nigerians.

In his opening remarks, Lagos Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode praised Asiwaju Tinubu for his astute leadership skills, referring to him as the Jagaban of Africa.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and President Buhari also poured encomiums on the celebrant with Mr. President nsisting that Asiwaju Tinubu was a friend and a partner.

A toast was proposed by Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki after which the entire audience was on its feet to sing a happy birthday song for the great politician who credited with laying the solid foundation for the great progress that Lagos State has witnessed in recent years.

Like the quintessential politician that he is, Asiwaju Tinubu during his speech took a swipe at former President Obasanjo for his letter criticizing the present government and also did not spare the PDP. He noted emphatically that the opposition will never return.

The celebrant, joined by his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu later cut his birthday cake and thereafter, guests were entertained at different sections of the venue
