Unwanted Remorse by Paul Black

You could have told me; he is not just a friend
Two nights before I, he asked to be a boyfriend
Did you say no? Yes, you said NO when you heard yes
You said it so late what you should have said first
As Pricky as porcupines, your words are no healing needles
You said them as though I should understand too
He was the one along but you didn’t know it
If I be a mistake, only he felt the correct fit
Down deep my mind went wandering
For love wasn’t my choosing but cupid's missing
Go! Don’t delay his patience
Always remind him another brother's tolerance
I will be married tomorrow
So if you come back, another woman doth washed away my sorrow
